Default Armor stacking question

I would like to ask, pls, when armor rating stacks and when it doesn't. Till today I was convinced that 2+ skills wouldn't stack past 25 but would stack with everything else. However, after seeing Dzjudz's thread reporting a bug with armor given by forgotten shields, I went to have some fun testing focuses (against earth dmg) and some inscriptions seem not to stack with armor giving skills ("Hail to the King", "Man for All Seasons", "Life is Pain", "Down But Not Out", Tattered Fan), while "Like a Rolling Stone" does and I confess my lack of intelligence/knowledge to understand why... I tried to find info on either wiki but couldn't find anything useful.

Unless something crazy changed in the game (doubt it since the dev's don't mess with the code anymore =p ):

-Armor bonuses from multiple spells and abilities cap at +25.
-Bonus armor from abilities that grant armor above 25 will still grant their stated bonus armor.
-Equipment does not factor into this cap.

(Rule of thumb for those not well versed with armor stacking)

What numbers were you getting that made you think there was a bug with armor granting foci and armor granting skills?

Thanks for helping me test this and coming up with new information. That really is weird that Like a Rolling Stone does stack with skills, while other armor inscriptions don't. I will test this also.

Bandwagon, check my thread on the bug of the Forgotten Shield that Yasmine refers to. The armor vs earth mod of that shield is factored in the 25 armor stacking cap of skills (i.e. it does nothing with Armor of Earth and only gives 1 armor with Ward Against Elements).

I was using dancing dagger at 12 deadly arts against a char with no armor using stand your ground (+24ar) and dolyak signet. When using no skill and without the focus, the char would get 82 dmg from each dagger (as expected), 75 dmg with the +5 armor focus (as expected), 54 with just stand your ground (as expected), 53 with adding either dolyak signet or the focus or both (which confirms to the calculations done with 25 armor, while with 29 ar it should be 50 dmg, 49 dmg with 30ar and 45 with 35 ar - unless ofc I'm using the wrong formula to calculate it lol).
I did another test with a char with 60ar and ward against elements (+24ar), in which case the char took 19 dmg when the other took 53, while it should have taken 18 with ward+focus with +5ar and 16 with the +10ar one.
Testing, instead, with "Like A Rolling Stone" on a focus, gave the same results as Dzjudz's ones (i.e. it stacks, a test was done in the same exact way as in his thread and it was also tested on the non armored char with stand your ground + dolyak signet which led to lower numbers against dancing daggers).
